Eugene Paul Wubben was born in August 1896 in Colorado. He was the son of John and Martha Wubben of Colorado Springs.
Eugene served in the 3rd Aviation Instruction Center as a First Lieutenant during World War I. He was killed in an accident in France on May 17, 1918, and is now buried in the St. Mihiel American Cemetery, Thiaucourt, France. 1Lt Wubben was one of the 171 American servicemen who trained at the Third Aviation Instruction Center in France and died between 1917-1919.
