Seba G. Hurd was born on December 18, 1920. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Hurd. He was a graduate of Monett High School, having finished in 1938.
Seba served in the United States Navy as a Signalman 3rd Class Petty Officer during World War II. He died in action on December 19, 1941, during the Japanese invasion of Guam.
