Adolphe Yablonsky was born on May 29, 1911, in Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Navy, Radio Agaņa, as a Yeoman First Class during World War II. He was one of six men who, with permission from the Naval Governor on Guam, evaded the Japanese after the invasion on December 8, 1941. He and two of his comrades were subsequently captured and beheaded on September 11, 1942, and two others were captured and executed in October. The ABMC record shows his date of death as September 14, 1942.
