Gerald Theodore Abrahamson was born on November 5, 1921, in Saint Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota. He was the son of Sam Abrahamson and Goldie Abrahamson.

Gerald served in Company E, 2nd Battalion, 21st Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on July 22, 1944, during the Battle for Guam. He is now buried in the Temple of Aaron Cemetery, Roseville, Ramsey County, Minnesota, USA.
