Daniel Junior Acheff was born on November 3, 1925, in Michigan. He was the son of Dora Ward Acheff.
Daniel served in Company K, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Regiment, as a Private First Class during World War II. He died from his wounds received in combat on July 24, 1944, during the Battle for Guam and is now buried in the Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint, Genesee County, Michigan, USA.
