Paul Ferguson was born on April 14, 1923, in Fall River, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He was the son of William A. Ferguson Jr. and Grace Minnie Arnzen Ferguson. He served in the 271st Infantry Regiment, 69th Infantry Division, as a Staff Sergeant during World War II.
SSgt Ferguson was Killed in Action on April 17, 1945, during the Battle of Weißenfels in Germany. He is now buried in the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial, Margraten, Eijsden-Margraten Municipality, Limburg, Netherlands.
