2nd Lt Victor J. Swenson, co-pilot of the B-24 42-7581 “Devil Dream”, took off from Station 125, Bungay, UK on a bombing mission to La Rochelle. The plane was evacuated at 1210, the crew bailing out at 11000 feet. He landed safely but was captured and sent to an unknown prison camp.
