Robert P. O'Reilly was born on May 18, 1915. He entered the military service in Georgia. He served in the U.S. Army during the Normandy Invasion of World War II as a Staff Sergeant in HQ 3, 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. He's been reported as POW (Stalag 13C Hammelburg Om Main Bavaria ) in the European Theatre in Germany. He died on December 20, 1986 and is now buried in Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Denver County, Colorado, USA.
