The site is located in the Ticino Park (Parco del Ticino) just west of the town of Bernate Ticino. Bernate is located about 30 kilometers west of the city of Milan on the Lombardy/Piedmont border along the Ticino river, just north of Autostrada A4. The site is in the park in an open area adjacent to woods just off the access roadSpecial thanks to the Rotary Club-Magenta for placing the memorial and to Air Crash Po (Cremona, Italy) for assistance in identifying this crash site and researching the incident.
