The site is located in the Mauthausen (Concentration Camp) Holocaust Memorial in Mauthausen, Austria. Mauthausen is a small market town in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. It is located at about 20 kilometers east of the city of Linz. The Mauthausen Memorial is known as the KZ-Gedenkstätte Mauthausen; the site is located in the memorial in a courtyard wall.
