Lemberg - Forest

The site includes one memorial remembering the liberation of the town during WW2 by the 100th Infantry Division; the monument is located on the spot where missing soldier was located in 1976.

The site is located in a forested area just off a bike trail between Bitche and Lemberg, France. The site is north of Lemberg about a 1 mile walk along a trail from the Lemberg Soccer field. Signs direct to the Stèle à la mémoire des Soldats Américains Libérateurs de Lemberg (memorial to the American liberators).
