The site contains a monument to the American pilot Ray W. Allen, who died here in his P-38 Lightning plane during an aerial battle on June 26, 1944.

The site is located on the eastern side of the town approximately 2 km from the town center. This is next to the Pannónska playground and can also be accessed through the dirt path that is connected to the neighboring cark park of the playground.
