The site contains two memorials for SSgt Ennis Bankhead, the tail gunner and only casualty of the B-17 # 42-30035 that crashed in the nearby street during World War II.

The site is situated about 1km south of the city center. From Rue de Longueville and Rue du Perret junction, take the Rue du Perret and follow it for about 350 meters. The site is at the road junction with La Prairie de Cerny.
