The site is located adjacent to a farmers field adjacent to the Bourlon Woods in Fontaine-Notre-Dame, France. The site is located off-road in next to a farmers field between D630 and an unnamed road. A small sign indicating the 'Memorial Ch. Fletcher Hartley. The owner of the land and tenant farmer co-operated fully and a sign-posted right of access from the lane to the north of the memorial was agreed early in 1998. Visitors are asked to use only this way to reach the site (https://www.westernfrontassociation.com for more information).
