On the north side of the road at the intersection at the edge of the woods.
Marker
A granite stele with gold leaf inscription in French and English. The shoulder insignia of the unit is at the top and crossed US and French flags are at the bottom.
The memorial remembers Private Yohei Sagami of the Japanese-American unit, the 442nd Infantry Regiment who was killed in action near here in October 1944.
