10th Mountain Division (87th Infantry Regiment)- Po River Crossing Marker
Details:
The marker is located just off the levee road, between the river. Marker
The marker is a white inscribed marble about 5 feet high.
The marker remembers the jump off point where the 1ST Battalion of the 87th Infantry Regiment, began their audacious assault across the Po River on April 23, 1945.
