The B-17 Museum in Utzenstorf is a private museum remembering foreign aircraft and personnel to include American presence in Switzerland during the Second World War.

He is also an expert on the complicated situation Switzerland faced during the war given its neutrality and geography. The Museum Director is also an honorary member of the Swiss Internee Association (1517 US Service members, mostly aircrews, were interned in Switzerland during the war; the 134 internees held at the Wauwilermoos Camp were recognized as POWs in the US in 2014).

Displays in the museum include several remembering American planes and aircrews that made emergency landed or crashed in Switzerland.  One B-17, in particular, B-17 (42-30315), "Battle Queen – Peg of My Heart” 8th Air Force, 390th Bomb Group, 569th Squadron which made an emergency landing in a potato field just outside Ulzenstrorf.
