Low stone monument with bronze plaque in Luxembourgish text to the 328th Regiment, 26th "Yankee' Infantry Division for the relief of the resistance fighters who held Noerdange from 19-21 December 1944.

Monument Text:

Inscription translates as: 

Ardennens Offensive – Winter 1944/45 

On December 19, 1944 the people of Noerdange were evacuated. The Resistance militia stayed and were the only armed forces on this side of the ‘Kräizerbuch’ until December 21, 1944 when the US Yankee Division arrived. When the 328th Regiment arrived, the militia was deployed in the Rédange district. 

General G. S. Patton congratulated them for their endurance at Christmas.
