A gray inscribed stone about 4 feet high.


The marker marks the location of the farthest advance of the US Army, (V Corps, Third Army) into the Czechoslovakia in WW2.

 

 

A plaque in the town of Velichovky  (Hotel Site) tells the story of this advance.
