Liberation Plaque – “Thank You Friends”
Details:
At the corner of the building between two windows above the flag holder.
A black polished piece of marble about 18” high inscribed with gold lettering.
The plaque remembers the liberation of this district of Plzeň (7)-Radčice in May 1945. The city was liberated by the 16th Armored Division followed by the 2nd Infantry Division of the V Corps of the US Third Army.

The text on the plaque is written in Czech and English and reads:
NA PAMĚŤ VOJÁKŮ 3. ARMÁDY USA,
KTEŘÍ POBÝVALI V RADČICÍCH 7.5.-25.9.1945
