Captain Richard Jokinen Plaque

On the right side behind the Medal of Honor monument.
A thick rectangular stone plaque set on the ground, with a carved lettering and inscribed in English text. The plaque is dedicated in memory of Captain Harvey Jokinen who was killed in a helicopter crash accident in 1978. Captain Jokinen was one of nine killed when their Bell UH-1H Iroquois helicopter crashed on the edge of a field near Unteraltertheim while flying from the unit's barracks at Baumholder to the Army training grounds at Grafenwöhr in Germany.
