On the north side of the road, beside the entrance gate to the Swingate Transmitting Station.


Monument

A cut stone of Cornish granite set on a two-stepped base of granite. Two brass plaques are affixed onto the surmounting stone that bears the commemoration and dedication message, both inscribed in English. The upper plaque contains the commemoration message and bears the regimental badge of the Royal Artillery and the insignia of the 127th Anti-Aircraft Artillery. Then, the lower plaque contains the dedication message. In July 1944, five American battalions joined forces with the British to fight against the flying bombs. They landed on the White Cliffs of Dover, east of Dover Castle, and set up their guns along the east of Dover Castle having the mission to fire at the flying bombs.
