A rectangular bronze plaque inscribed in French in relief lettering with the town’s blazon on the center. The plaque commemorates the soldiers and officers of the 36^th Infantry Division for liberating the town of Mertzwiller during World War II. The plaque was dedicated on the 75^th anniversary of the town’s liberation from German forces.
