Maastricht Liberation Bronze- 30th Infantry Division
Details:
At the southeast corner of the square near the Hawt Uuch Vas Fountain.
A inscribed flat bronze circle attached to the ground; the bronze is about 45 inches wide.
The bronze remembers the 30th Infantry “Old Hickory” Division liberation of Maastricht on 13-14 September 1944. The 30th Infantry Division Association placed the bronze in September 1974, the 30th Anniversary of the liberation of the city.
