A parachute shaped memorial with an inscription and picture of PFC Joe Mann.

PFC Joe Mann was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions with Company H, 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division; he was KIA near this memorial on September 19, 1944.

Monument Text:

 The inscription on top around the picture is in English and reads:


THE JOB IS DONE AND MAY NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

The inscription is in Dutch; the small metal plaque at the bottom includes the English Translation:
