Cenotaph

A standard Veterans Affairs brass inscribed flat grave marker.

The cenotaph remembers Private Michael Kern Holmes an Irish born soldier who fell on October 27, 1918 in World War 1 in France while serving with the 165th Infantry Regiment (aka "Fighting 69th") of the 42nd Infantry "Rainbow" Division. 

 PVT Holmes is listed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Meuse-Argonne Cemetery and Memorial in France.
