Plaque

A gray inscribed stone with two adjoining clear plastic plaques.

The plaques remember the liberation of Forbach by the 274th and 276th Infantry Regiments of the 70th Infantry "Trailblazers" Division in late 1944 and early 1945. The memorial also members the French forces that fought along side the Americans to liberate the town.

The clear left side plaque is written in both English and French.  The English reads:
