A white metallic plaque.
The plaque remembers the liberation of the town of Thiaucourt by the 2nd Infantry Division on September 12, 1918 during the Battle of St. Mihiel. The scene of the American soldiers crossing the bridge is displayed on the brass tablet attached to the town war memorial.
