A large upright marble civilian gravestone of the Milne family.

Private Peter Milne was born in Aberdeen, Scotland in either 1877 or 1880.  He immigrated to the US and lived in New York. As he trained as a lithographer, he enlisted in the US Army with the Engineers.  He served in the Company F of the 604th Engineers and was then transferred to the 29th Engineers in November 1918. The 29th Engineers were known as the "Wayfinders" was a topographic survey unit.  They were located in Koblenz, Germany as part of the Occupation force when Private Milne died in April 1919.  He is buried in his family plot in his hometown in Scotland.
