An engraved marble plaque attached to the front of a town memorial. An information sign also explains the circumstances.

The plaque remembers the first crossing of the US 3rd Army, commanded by LTG George Patton into Czechoslovakia (Present day Czechia) on April 18, 1945.

The crossing occurred near this location at a place called "Kocici hlava" by units of the 1st Infantry Division commanded by Major General Clift Andrus.
