Statue

A bronze statue mounted on a steel inscribed base.

The star remembers the aide and piplomat to President Woodrow Wilson, Edward "Colonel" House.  Colonel House was instrumental in the development of Wilson's 14 points and hence the post-World War 1 creation of the Polish state.  The statue was destroyed after WW2 and rebuilt in 1991.

Several sites in Warsaw also rememeber President Woodrow Wilson to include a metro stop and Thomas Woodrow Wilson Square (Plac Wilsona).
