An upright inscribed civilian grave stone.
The isolated Burial (ISOB) of Private Thomas Edward Dennehy of Company I, 58th Infantry Regiment., 4th Infantry 'Ivy' Division. Private Dennehy immigrated to the US and lived in Massachusetts. He joined the US Army and was killed in action on October 7, 1918 during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive in World War 1. His remains were returned to Ireland in 1922 on the SS Millwater and he was buried Drishane Cemetery, Millstreet, Ireland.
