Monument
A bronze statue of General Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben (Baron von Steuben), depicted in an 18th-century military uniform, honoring the Prussian-born officer who served as Inspector General of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. The statue stands atop a rectangular stone pedestal, which features a bronze plaque on its reverse side inscribed in German. Although the original replica in Potsdam was destroyed in 1950, it was later restored in Berlin.
