Inside the Ossuary, lower level.
A white marble inscribed plaque; the symbol of the 42nd Infantry or "Rainbow" Division is prominent.
The plaque remembers the 42nd Infantry Divsion service fighting with the 4th French Army, commanded by General Henri Gourand, in July 1918 during the Battle of the 2nd Marne in the Champagne region.
