Combat VehicleThe museum display features fragments of the U.S. Lockheed U-2C spy plane piloted by Francis Gary Powers, which was shot down near Sverdlovsk on May 1, 1960, by an S-75 Dvina missile after departing from a secret U.S. base in Peshawar, Pakistan for a surveillance mission over Soviet territory.
