Commemorative Object
A large colored map dipisiting the Septmeber 1944 crossing of the Mosel (Moselle) River at Dornot by the 11th Infantry Regiment of the 5th Infantry Divsion. The overlook is part of the Dornot (Stop # 9) on the Historical Walk Dornot-Corny (WW2 Moselle Crossing). The map orients the viewer from a beautiful overlook (Belvedere) depicting the crosssing operations.
