Located just inside the town hall portico.
PlaqueA yellow sandstone inscribed plaque with the cross of Lorraine and the US Military eagle.
The plaque remembers the liberation of the town and the liberation of Fort Driant when the enemy capitulated the fort on December 8, 1944, ending the Battle for Metz.
