A chimney which was part of Officers quarters at Camp Williams. Per "American Armies and Battlefield Europe" (1938), The base at Is-sur-Tille was the Headquarters of Advance Section of the Supply & Services (S.O.S) in 1917 from which more than 1 million soldiers were supplied at one time; included the largest bakery in the AEF; Ordnance School and Shops; Air Service intermediate depot; artillery camp; and an important center of railway construction.
