In front of the Korean War Monument to the Battles along the Imjingang monument.

The black marble monument includes an engraving of the Second Infantry Division shoulder patch and inscriptions in Korean and English.

This monument commemorates the deployment of the 2nd Infantry Division to Korea at the start of the Korean War in 1950, and its continued service there to date as the forward-deployed 2^nd Infantry Division-Republic of Korea/United States Combined Division (2ID/RUCD).
