Plaque

A rectangular silver-colored commemorative plaque mounted on an angled metal pedestal, dedicated to the Second Infantry Division. Written in both Korean and English, the plaque honors the soldiers of the Second Infantry Division who sacrificed their lives in the fight for freedom during the Korean War.

This monument was built in memory of the noble sacrifice and immortal

achievements of soldiers of the Second Infantry Division of the US Army who

died in the Korean War (1950 ~ 1953) as they fought for freedom.
