Monument

A rectangular commemorative plaque mounted on a slanted metal pedestal features an illustration of a B-26 Marauder aircraft, historical information about the mid-air collision, and the names of the crew members aboard both aircraft. The inscription is presented in both English and Dutch. The monument was unveiled on May 17, 2025, through a joint effort of the 4 May Commemoration Bodegraven Foundation and the Municipality of Bodegraven-Reeuwijk. The project originated from an initiative led by Marcel Meijer, the Minnaard brothers, and Kees Spaamer.
