Monument

A low concrete post with a inscribed plaque attached to the front; a flower arrangement placed on top.

The memorial remebers the May 1945 liberation of the town by the US Army. The US 3rd Army's 8th Armored Divsion - "Thundering Herd" later occupied the town.
