Affixed to the entrance wall of Château de Fontenay.

A rectangular commemorative plaque bearing the insignia of the 22nd Infantry Regiment and the 4th Infantry Division features inscriptions in both French and English honoring the members of the 22nd Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, who fought in the capture of Château de Fontenay on June 10, 1944. The plaque was unveiled on July 26, 2026, during a dedication ceremony organized by the Deeds Not Words association.
