On the western side of the D50.

Monument
An engine encased in a large glass container similar to a bus stop with a broken plane helix lying on the ground nearby. There is a small black plaque with gold lettering inside the glass structure commemorating Lt Cary Gray of the 513th Fighter Squadron, 406th Fighter Group who crashed nearby on June 17, 1944. 


There is also a white information panel nearby.
