Monument This monument is a large metal plaque that commemorates the defensive effort of Combat Command "A", 9th Armored Division in the Ardennes Offensive that followed an attack by the German Army. Specifically this monument honors the units and soldiers that fought in the villages of Ermsdorf, Savelborn, Waldbillig and Christnach. Over the plaque is the insignia of the 9th Armored Division.
