CORY. H. GRANT
Le 23 juin 1944 aux environs de 14h30, un
avion appartenant au 38th Fighter Squadron
du 55 Fighter Group (basé à cette date à
Wormingford Angleterre) fut descendu en
flammes après un rapide combat au dessus
de Pierrefitte.
L'avion est venu s'écraser près du mur de la
ferme de Guinette. Le pilote lieutenant
CORY. H. GRANT
trouva la mort dans les débris de son avion.
Il est inhumé au Cimetière Américain de
St James

CORY. H. GRANT
On June 23, 1944, at around 2:30 p.m., an
aircraft belonging to the 38th Fighter Squadron
of the 55th Fighter Group (based at that time in
Wormingford, England) was shot down in flames
after a quick battle over
Pierrefitte.
The plane crashed near the wall of the
Guinette farm. The pilot, Lieutenant

died in the wreckage of his plane.
He is buried at
