On the north side of the D-998 in the center of Neuvilly en Argonne, in the middle of the public square. Monument


A rough cut stone stele with a bronze plaque and text in French and English.

The monument remembers Neuvilly as the jump-off point in the sector of the Meuse-Argonne Offensive that began on September 26, 1918.  The 28th and 35th Infantry Divisions operated in this area.
