George Washington Ancestral Home Stone

This stone and its accompanying case are located immediately inside the church's foyer on the left hand side.  Commemorative Object This gray stone is housed in a dark wooden box that is mounted on a wooden plaque of the identical color. The top of the plaque features three "spires" that resemble a church and various decorative carvings. The seal of the Washington family is embossed in the top center of the plaque. The center of the wooden plaque features a message in painted gold lettering that describes the significance of the stone.
