Sergeant Harvey- First Special Service Force Marker

Details:

The boulder where the marker is mounted is below a copse of trees and is is above the farm road to the left about 100 meters (at about 800m in elevation).

Marker

: A white inscribed marble marker about 2 feet by 2 feet.

 

The marker marks the location where Staff Sergeant Frank Harvey was killed while conducting a patrol on January 8, 1944.  Staff Sergeant Harvey was part of the Joint US-Canadian First Special Service Force.
