Upon entering the Florence ABMC pass the cemetery offices and statue is located to the right prior to entering the burial section along the road.

Monument


A black iron statue, about 6 feet tall, of a 91st Division soldier placed on a marble inscribed pedestal.

 

The statue remembers the hard fighting soldiers of the 361st Infantry Regiment, 91st Infantry Division (Powder River) as they fought through the Gothic Line and Futa Pass in 1944.  This statue was part of the 91st Infantry Division Monument (361st Statue) located in Loiano and moved to this location in the 1960s.
